Claudio Diniz
CEO at Maison du Luxe, a consultancy specializing in events, courses and seminars management. He is author of the book: O Mercado do Luxo no Brasil: Tendências e Oportunidades by Seoman and the book The Luxury Market in Brazil by Palgrave Macmillan. He is the coordinator for the Luxury Commission at the French Chamber of Commerce in Brazil; Coordinator of the MBA in Luxury Management and teacher at six universities in Brazil. Claudio Diniz holds an MBA in the Luxury Management from Faap University in São Paulo, Brazil, and has studied at the London College of Fashion, UK, and ESSEC Business School, France.

Prof. Piergiorgio Dal Santo
He is one of Europe’s foremost experts in Luxury and Fashion Interntional Brand Management. He has held for +20 years senior strategic management positions in sales, marketing, communication and licensing for top international luxury, fashion and accessory brands while based in Europe and the USA. Since 2008, Piergiorgio is President of PGDS Consulting Milan, where he advises international brands on international business development activities, with a focus on the China and India markets. Piergiorgio has assisted many well-known brands in strategically expanding their business interests, while creating cross-border partnerships, mergers & acquisitions and alliances between companies.
He is Chief Researcher and Educator for the Fortune Character Institute and Co-Secretary of the Luxury in China Summit (Shanghai), which presents the annual High Net Worth Individual consumer research called the China Luxury Report. Piergiorgio is also visiting professor in Luxury Brand Management and Fashion Marketing at major universities in Europe (London College of Fashion, IUM Montecarlo, University of Padova) and holds master classes in China and the USA. Prof. Dal Santo is often a keynote speaker at fashion and luxury industry events.
He holds a BBA degree in Marketing from Texas Tech University (USA), speaks fluent English, Italian, French, German and is based in Milan, Italy.


Course Location


Our host Vitale Barberis Canonico is a high end fabrics manufacturer for mens suits from Biella, a company which was founded in 1663.
The 13th generation of the family is currently running the company and selling their products all over the world.
Our classroom location in the center of Milano, strategically located between the Quadrilatero della Moda fashion district and the Brera arts district. This is where all the top luxury brands and cultural venues are located.
This will be a proper location to concentrate and be stimulated creatively to learn about Luxury Management. Our luxury host is in their central Milan showroom for our morning classroom location. So very convenient for all the students coming from different areas and to meet with brands in the afternoon.
The space is located in the city’s vibrant Brera neighborhood, an area traditionally connected with design and fashion. It is the perfect place for a showroom intended to consolidate the company’s brand identity, and especially to represent a lifestyle that makes beauty and absolute quality nothing short of a mission statement.
The Vitale Barberis Canonico showroom is a crossroads of stimuli and events, hosted within a sophisticated, welcoming environment. It is a classical, elegant space that nevertheless boasts that union of warmth and style typical of the Italian way of life.

Vitale Barberis Canonico has also agreed to provide our group with a session called STYLE ACADEMY to introduce their fine products and show us how made-to-measure suits are made in a "gentlemanly" way.
